The ATLAS lets players experience a top-quality pickleball paddle at a great price.
The Raw Carbon Fiber surface provides much more spin and control compared to older fiberglass surfaces.
Great for players who are looking for more control and consistency in their game without sacrificing spin.
Comparable in quality and play to other popular non-thermoformed control paddles on the market like the Selkirk Vanguard 2.0 ($280), CRBN
($250), and SLK Halo Max ($190).

The ATLAS is great for ….

  • Players looking to experience a high-quality paddle at a great price
  • Players looking to for a paddle with tons of control/spin
  • Players looking for a lightweight paddle that provides you with a great feel for the ball
  • Someone that likes to use a lot of spin when they play
  • For people who say they have an aggressive/offensive play style, the Atlas has amazing spin, and since it is a lightweight paddle you can customize it with lots of lead tape to add power
  • For people who say they have a controlled/defensive play style, the Atlas has amazing control, makes resets incredibly easy, and does not have a “poppy” feel to it

Started playing pickleball about 2 years ago, used a well known brand as my primary paddle and did well. I purchased my 1st NXT Atlas 3 months ago and have elevated my game considerably. I feel improved speed with this lighter paddle and much better control then I had with my previous brand. Also love the design and feel of the paddle. I’m planning to buy my second paddle soon, as backup.

  2. Brian

As a competitive player, I’m looking to get as much advantage I can in a paddle.

The Atlas provides a very forgiving sweet spot along with a gritty raw carbon fibre surface. I love the resets I’m able to confidently execute and the length it gives me to reach for shots.

The short handle allows me to roll shots effectively and get a nice wrist snap on the put away shots.

If you were looking to upgrade to a new paddle at a great price point, don’t hesitate to try the Atlas!

The ATLAS paddle helped me enhance my games.. Has a bigger sweat spot and very good control.

  4. Lok Man Law

This is an excellent paddle for drop shots and resets. It’s got a pretty big sweet spot. Great for dinking and it’s super light, so it gives me a bit more of an advantage in hand battles.
Really well made for the price.
I am glad to discover Nxtgen.

I got my Altas paddle Oct 2023 and have been using it since. I choose this model because it’s said that it is lighter and good for single back hands, which is very true. This paddle also has a bigger sweet spot and gives the feeling of more control. It also helps me to generate more spin thanks to the surface of the paddle. I am also looking forward to see what else NXTGEN Sports can offer!

  6. Lyndsay

I purchased the Atlas paddle as a beginner player and couldn’t recommend it enough. The weight of the paddle feels great even after 2 hours of playing. The value of the product speaks for itself and I immediately felt an improvement in my playing.

I was looking for a light paddle to replace my Selkirk Amped s2 which I loved but wanted a little more grit and spin. I demoed the Atlas paddle which I found easy to play with and offered a natural progression from the s2. The paddles are similar in size and weight but the Atlas gave me a bit more spin and a touch more power. However, for dinks, I still prefer my s2 because it provided a softer touch and less pop at the net. I have played with the Atlas for over a month and I am happy with it. The Atlas is not a power paddle but offers a good balance for the price point.

As a brand new player, I wasn’t sure that the type of paddle would make much difference in my play. After trying the Atlas paddle I was surprised to find it did help me develop more control with my shots and the weight is perfect for me. I am very happy with my purchase.

  9. Curt

Thought you always had to pay a lot for good paddle.I have had top of the line paddles before,I tried the atlas and found it easier to control shots in soft game and had more overall control
The carbon fibre surface is still good not worn down yet after playing quite a bit ,which has happened with top of line brands I’ve used
Very good paddle for the price

  11. Barri

I started playing Pickleball in June of 2021. Started off with a beginner paddle and gradually stepped up to higher quality paddles. I was using the Selkirk Halo Control and was quite happy with it until I demoed the NXT Atlas. The transition to this paddle was seamless. I immediately loved the feel of the paddle, the larger sweet spot and the increased grit. My game has steadily improved along with my confidence on the court. Couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. No need to spend $300 on a paddle.

  12. Kitty

I love using Atlas paddle since day one I purchased it. It gives me a good control, lots of sweet spots to help me playing much better in the games. Most importantly, I got a good power and spinning from the paddle ! Also the price is affordable too! Awesome !

  13. Pam

Purchased my Atlas paddle in October and it has been a game changer for me. Not only is it affordable but the results are great. People have commented on how my game has improved; I have better control and more consistent play. Thanks Nxt Gen for developing an affordable, quality paddle. I definitely recommend the Atlas paddle!

  14. Karen Ashton

I have been using the Atlas paddle for the last month. It is a wider paddle with a large sweet spot. My control has improved a lot. Also, the handle is a bit shorter, which I like. It is a great, and affordable paddle. The best part, I got a bronze medal in a tournament while using it!

  15. Melissa

I love the feel of the carbon fibre surface — a little grit to enhance control and whatever spin you can muster. Lightweight feel- top notch construction. Don’t wait to get one! Will help novices and experts alike!

  16. Meagan

I had tennis elbow from playing pickleball, it was quite serious that I had to take 6 months off. Once I started to play again, my elbow would get irritated. A friend introduced me to the NXTgen Atlas paddle which this website describes to be elbow friendly. I bought it and absolutely love it. I don’t feel the vibration that I did when using other paddles. This has been one of my best purchases!

  17. Sally

I’m glad to have been introduced to this racquet. I’ve been using it since Nov 2023 and found that it has improved my soft game and control immensely. The Atlas still provides enough power for smashes and drives. The racquet is light and allows me to respond and defend quicker. I found when playing with my previous racquet, I would get pain in my wrist. Now that I am using the NXT Atlas I no longer get pain in my wrist. I highly recommend this racquet.

  18. Steve L

This NXT GEN pickleball paddle is an excellent starter paddle with great shock absorbent, light weight, easy to control and nice grip! Recommended for beginners!

  19. Brandon Glass

Amazing paddle, very durable, light weight, good feeling off the paddle when making connection with ball, and priced well. This paddle has been with me for a while and I have put through the ringer and it looks and works so well to this day

  20. Q SpinMeister

I love this paddle! One of the very few recently released paddles that offers a combination of leading technology and shortened handle perfect for one-handed players. Provides effortless control, optimal hand speed and awesome spin rotation.
Perfect for players with table tennis background or those prioritizing a paddle with a HUGE sweet spot.
    Top notch choice!!!

  21. Jessmar

I like this paddle a lot, it is lightweight compared to other ones and it gives me sturdy control.

  22. Samantha

I started playing about a year ago with a borrowed paddle. Thought I would wait to see what paddle I should purchase. Around 6 months into playing I had an opportunity to try NXT Atlas and I noticed the improvement right away. How it felt light and comfortable and it helped with control and hitting. I was going to wait until I was a better player but I realized a great paddle helps to become a better player. Really happy I purchased this one!

  23. Brian L

Found myself losing hand battles a lot. The Atlas is the perfect weight to provide the agility and maneuverability needed to even the score. The sweet spot is huge. The surface bites and grips imparting a high spin rate on drives. Great paddle!

So glad I decided to purchase the Atlas. It has a large sweet spot, providing greater control which has given me more confidence at the net. It also provides more power than other “control” paddles I have used in the past. This combined with how lightweight and manoeuvrable it is makes it an amazing overall paddle. Also, NXTgen’s customer service is outstanding. Would highly recommend.
